N43BN Special Order Overview:

Pro Tip: Special orders that match a stock configuration will be fulfilled first before placing stock online. This is the best way to get a stock slide reserved instead of waiting for a stock refresh that may not come.

Note: These new N43BN (BN = Bullnose) slides have been updated from our previous N43 slide line. They have been machined to match the OEM front profile to work with front wrapping comps like the Ramjet combo or other accessories that require the rounded feature for compatibility.

Optic Milling:

This option will specify to the shop what optic cut you want milled onto the slide prior to heat treating and finishing the slide. Please consider this choice carefully as this decision is not reversible once the slide has been milled to that specification. Using different optics on footprints than the ones specified below is at your own discretion and compatibility is not guaranteed.

The following is applicable for all mounting footprints unless stated otherwise:

• All mounting footprints are placed in front of the rear dovetail unless "Reverse Dovetail" description is applied (irons forward). 
• All mounting footprints do not require an adapter plate or sealing plate to mount the optic. Sealing plates or shrouds are still recommended for use by the optic manufacturer for intended applications.
• Iron sight recommendations for lower 1/3rd cowitness are based on the Optic Model, not the optic cut. Iron sight height recommendations are in the add-on's description and are suggested to achieve a lower 1/3rd cowitness.
• When installing optics, always visually check that the right side mount screw is not protruding into your plunger rod hole. This may cause extraction/feed issues if not avoided. Informational video on this issue here.

None: No optic cut will be milled onto the slide. Slide will still include iron sight mounting features unless specified to omit. Please note that we will not re-cut an optic cut or sight dovetails into the slide once it has been heat treated and hardened.

RMSc Shield/Holosun 507K/EPS Carry/RomeoX Compact: Modified RMSc shield footprint that uses the front two locating posts and M4 x 0.7 thread pitch. Max screw length for most applications cannot exceed 10mm. Iron sight dovetail will be behind the optic. The two smaller, centered holes are for our cover plate here: N43 507K Cover plate

RMSc Shield Reverse Dovetail (Irons forward): Same as the previous RMSc shield footprint but with the iron sight dovetail in front of the optic. Also known as a combat cut or irons forward configuration. Reduces sight radius but allows a full optic window picture instead of partial occlusion from the normal iron sight location.

Trijicon RMRcc: Trijicon factory specified footprint for mounting the RMRcc. Raised threaded posts that use 5-40 UNC This footprint is unique and will only work with the Trijicon RMRcc. Iron sight dovetail will be behind the optic. Mounting screws will be included with the RMRcc optic.

Trijicon RMRcc Reverse Dovetail (Irons forward):  Same as the previous RMRcc footprint but with the iron sight dovetail in front of the optic. Also known as a combat cut or irons forward configuration. Reduces sight radius but allows a full optic window picture instead of partial occlusion from the normal iron sight location.

Slide Finish:

We offer a variety of different options for finishing/coating your slide after it has been milled. Please review the following options to see which best meets your tactical needs.

Unfinished (Media Blasted): NOTE: This is not an operational ready coating. It is a preparatory coating finish for those wanting to get further finishing done elsewhere. Select this option if you wish to get it coated from another vendor; we can ship it to a business of your choice if you provide the address. We media blast the slide with a roughness to make it ready for coating. It is inadvisable to use the slide in this condition and will void your warranty if issues occur.

Black DLC: Slide will arrive with a coated solid black Diamond-like Carbon finish. Select this option for backordering stocked slide options.

Battle Hardened Black DLC: Slide will arrive with our distressed black DLC finish with highlighted edges. You can also select this option for backordering stocked slide options.

Satin Stainless Steel: Slide will arrive with a semi-polished, non-directional soft satin stainless steel finish (uncoated). Low reflectivity and a clean, uniform look set this premium finish apart from others while maintaining cosmetic longevity. Frequent cleaning and lubrication is recommended to preserve the finish and for operational reliability.

Cerakote: All other colors not identified above are achieved through Cerakote. Slide will arrive with a single color Cerakote coating of your choice offering unmatched corrosion, chemical and durability performance.
