Norsso slide options for your Ruger RXM
Posted by Lee on Jun 11th 2025
Hi y’all! Lee here. I got a hold of a new Ruger RXM to look at some of the compatible slides we have in our existing Glock 19 Gen 3 catalog. The RXM has entered an already product-rich market, leveraging Glock 19 Gen 3 parts that have benefited from development over the last couple of decades. Our Glock 19 Gen 3 slides are compatible with the Ruger RXM as well so allow me to show you some of our most popular options you can customize your RXM with. For those of you that prefer to see a video, here’s a link to the YouTube video that highlights the pistol’s features and the products below.
N19 Spec Ops
The Spec Ops was designed to integrate a professional, duty-style look, with our forward and deep serrations and signature gem-cut slide CNC machining. This slide is our most value packed option as $299 gets you a brand-new Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) finished slide, optic cut, and iron sight dovetails for optics ready sights. The design doesn’t stray too far from the factory Glock 19 and looks very similar to the new RXM but makes a difference with press checks and overall grip for slide manipulation. We stock it with a dedicated Trijicon RMR/Holosun 507C cut but we also have around a dozen optic cuts to choose from through our special-order process with no cost increase.
N19 Tiger Claw 3.0
Bridging over similar serrations and design from the Spec ops comes the new version of the Tiger Claw 3.0. A bit of vanity porting on the side is combined with the same deep, forward serrations and convenient thumb pocket for press checking. The slide is compatible with Glock 19C ported barrels so this is where you can really start exploring ported barrels on your RXM. Pair it with one of our N19 C Port barrels and you have yourself a compensated barrel build, like the Glock 19C. This is a great option for those looking to bring a bit more aftermarket touch to your RXM while also having some freedom to expand to ported barrels.
N19 Reptile XP
The Reptile collection is a testament to what Norsso can really bring to your build. The reptile line has seen multiple versions and refreshes over the years, with the Reptile XP being the latest output of those efforts. A signature feature of Reptile design is the use of 3D contouring and profiling to create organic features, like the large reptile eye side port and scale-like serration pattern. The Reptile XP also provides the same C port barrel option as the Tiger Claw 3.0. We have an assortment of Reptile design variants so be sure to find the one that meets your tactical needs!
N19 Piranha TP
If you’re looking for the pinnacle of what Norsso has to offer, then look no further than the Piranha TP. This is basically functional art for your pistol as we’ve spared the design no expense in CNC time and detail. The Piranha slides have the most aggressive bite with their sawtooth serration style and the TP boasts large, contoured windows for additional racking access. A beautiful, knurling pattern around the ports provides texture with a striking look that demands attention. The top port allows for an inline porting style for use with our E port pattern barrel. This slide is the absolute choice for those curating a build that covers all the bases in form and function.
Regardless of which Norsso slide you choose, we machine all of them in our Las Vegas, NV facility from start to finish. Our expertise in machining allows us to harness the material properties of 17-4 PH Stainless Steel. Even though 17-4 steel is more expensive, the compromise in strength from other steel alloys is worth the cost. We stock all our slides in Black DLC but can make a custom slide for you in a raw, ready-to-coat state, or you can choose from several popular cerakote finishes through our special-order process. Check out our Special-order page to explore your custom build options!
If you’re not ready to jump into a new slide just yet, a barrel switch is an easy way to get your feet with customizing your RXM. Also machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel, our barrels will not have the chamber viewing window above the breech face, which helps reduce the amount of primer gas going up into your optic window every round. This was a design feature that we introduced from our SIG model barrels as well. Check out our catalog of compatible barrels below. Be sure to stick to the standard barrel variants as the RXM factory slide cannot be used with a ported barrel. Norsso ported barrels are only for use with our matching ported slides.
